- Richard Green was in practice as a Solicitor from 1973 until 1999.
- He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1993 and sat part time in the County Court on the South Eastern Circuit until 1998.
- He became the senior partner of and managed an 8 partner 4 offices Sussex practice in 1990.
- Since 1996 Richard has been a Legal Consultant assisting individuals, companies, churches and charities.
- Richard has wide experience in over 26 years of legal practice.
- He is a practising Christian.
- Richard also provides private one to one law tuition to students from GCSE courses to Degree level and lessons taken on a one to one basis, over the internet, by post or by telephone.

- He holds various associate lectureships in law and teaches law to adults in further education part time on college courses as well as private agency and personal law tuition. He is an examiner in law for one of the Major National Examining Boards.
- He holds a City and Guilds of London Institute teaching certificate in further education and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Educational Asssesors as well as a Member of the Institute for Learning. He also gives talks to local groups on legal topics.
